Returning speaker Laura Mathis, Executive Communication Coach at The Speech Improvement Company, will discuss the concept of persuasive speaking and teach you skills to communicate effectively with your audience. The goal of persuasive speaking is for the speaker to convince the audience to accept their point of view or perform a desired action. You’ll learn how to choose the correct mode of persuasion and how to match your message to your listeners.
