CPA Canada and CIIPA host ethics event

George Town, March 11, 2020 – Both the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) and the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (CIIPA) recognize the important role that ethics plays not only within the profession, but also in the business community. That is why the two organizations partnered to present a special, two-hour session devoted to the topic of ethics and business last week. “I would like to thank our volunteer-led Training Committee for initiating this partnership with CPA Canada. Held at the Marriott Grand Cayman Beach Resort on Wednesday, March 4, the event featured a presentation by Karen Wensley on ethical decision-making and ethical leadership. Wensley is a special lecturer in business ethics at Canada’s University of Waterloo and was an ethics columnist from 2014 to 2018 for the flagship publication of the Canadian CPA profession.
