Changing member support for Canadian CPAs in mainland China

Published: Thursday, October 28, 2021

We would like to inform you of some changes to CPA Canada’s mainland China member support model.

Effective immediately we will be transitioning your support from TPEI to a new member support model led directly by CPA Canada International. This decision is being made because of today’s rapidly changing environment which includes many factors, such as the emergence of new technologies.

CPA Canada and TPEI have jointly agreed to make this transition. CPA Canada would like to express its gratitude to all the dedicated staff at TPEI, who have played a pivotal role in serving all Canadian CPAs living and working in the region and whose contributions are greatly appreciated.

Through the new support model, CPA Canada International will deliver high-quality virtual learning opportunities to help you stay ahead of the curve and meet your CPD requirements.

As a reminder, CPA Canada offers a wide selection of online learning (webinars, virtual classrooms and podcasts) and free resources to assist you in your careers.

Over the coming months, you will receive additional communications on other upcoming events and online opportunities. In this regard, please note that we will be closing all WeChat groups. Going forward members will receive all information through email only. Please ensure that your email preferences are up to date on your CPA Canada profile.
