CPA Canada Trinidad and Tobago Chapter

PLD and Networking Event Invitation
Thursday, November 28, 2019 | Valsayn, Trinidad

Join us at the Valpark Chinese Restaurant to celebrate the end of another busy year. The evening will commence with a special one-hour presentation on Climate Action, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) and Changes to the Finance Function. The presentation will be delivered by Chapter board member and expert on corporate sustainability reporting Dr. Emily G. Dick Forde, PhD, FCPA, FCMA.

Dr. Forde will provide an overview of the transformational global agendas of climate change and the pursuit of the UN SDGs, with reference to the vulnerability of Caribbean businesses. She will look at implications for the finance function and finance professionals in light of these major challenges. You will also learn about the latest report from climate scientists and why there’s an urgent need for business model innovations for resilient green enterprises.

Following the presentation, you are invited to network and dine with your fellow CPAs.
